The Challenge

To concept the visual graphics and theme for the musical and create a marketing strategy to promote the show and sell tickets. Working closely with the show's production team.

The Solution

The concept for high society was clear from the outset, it needed to be art deco, 1920's inspired and connected with the car.

Having researched 1920's style illustrations of cars, my solution was to design an illustration of a posh car facing the viewer, the point to be that the car is sitting high above the viewer, much like the character's perception of themselves within the musical.

I used blues and greens and golds, to follow in the art deco colouring. The font I chose was simple and tall, it also had an 'art deco' feel to it, without being over-the-top.

I used this design across social media, print, video, posters, flyers, events, and the theme was used by the production team within the show.
