The Challenge

To concept the visual graphics and theme for the cabaret  and create a marketing strategy to promote the show and sell tickets. Working closely with the show's production team.

The Solution

I worked closely with the musical director and director for this production on the concept of the show, graphics and marketing. The production was to be called Christmas Cake, and I discussed the idea of having Christmas sparkle and glitter burst from a cake, this was then the idea for the brochure as seen above, and the running concept through the campaign marketing.

 

I decided for the social marketing that I would once again use head shots of the cast, but edited onto a sparkly festive background, I directed a 'silly' photo shoot involving the cast individually pulling a face or posing with a festive item. These photos were posted across social media, creating hype around the show and the cast shared the photos to sell tickets. The production sold out and was a great success.
