To concept the visual graphics and theme for the musical and create a marketing strategy to promote the show and sell tickets. Working closely with the show's production team.
I once again worked closely with the production team on the concept for this show. The director liked the idea of using silhouettes in the production for some of the dance scenes. I decided this would work well as a design feature for the marketing and design too. I wanted a striking sunset colour to be used as well to be both eye-catching and remind the viewer of a bold texan summer sky. I also wanted to have contrasting text in white, this theme was then used throughout all designs for the marketing across social media, print and the programme.
I was lucky enough to befriend a marketeer (in the cast) who was able to give us promotional spaces near to the theatre in London in the form of bus stops six sheets.
The show was a great success and the marketing was very well received.
